These are just some of the descriptions used when describing Australian singer/songwriter, Lloyd Back’s music. His songs draw on both his own and other people’s life experiences, and are songs that move people – to tap their toes, to enter into the story, to laugh and sometimes to cry. An easy listening, multiple award winning performer, Lloyd’s songs connect with a wide range of people of all ages from many differing walks of life.
To date Lloyd has six recordings, all produced by multiple award winning Lindsay Waddington at the Kross Kut Records label.
A seventh album is on the way, with two singles having already been released, both with great success. “Rolling Thunder” reached #1 on the Country Songs TOP 40 Australian Airplay Chart, and “Proud to Call You Dad” made it to #2. Thanks for the support everyone!
The “Strong Love” album was extremely well received, with two singles – ‘When I’m With You’ and ‘Strong Love’ reaching #1 in the Country Songs Top 40 Australian Airplay Chart. Three other singles all made the Top 10 in the same chart, thanks to enormous support from radio presenters all around the country.
It was a huge honour for Lloyd to learn the album was awarded a 2021 Traditional Country Music Awards of Australia Album of the Year award at the Tamworth Country Music Festival. “Strong Love” is available in the SHOP now!
Lloyd’s previous album “Everyone Has a Story” also achieved great success! ‘Broken Hearts in Broken Hill’ reached #1 on the Joyce Ramgate International Mainstream Country Music Chart, with four single releases all reaching Top 5 in the Country Songs Top 40 Australian Airplay Chart.
It was also a great honour for Lloyd to learn the album was awarded a 2020 Traditional Country Music Awards of Australia Album of the Year award at the Tamworth Country Music Festival. “Everyone Has a Story” is available in the SHOP now!
The Tamworth Country Music Festival 2020 really was a very exciting time for Lloyd, as he was also very honoured to receive an Australian Gold Medallion Media Award for Male Vocalist of the Year and National Male Artist of the Year.
Lloyd’s fourth album was the international award-winning “Travelling With You”. 
In 2018 Lloyd travelled to Le Mars, Iowa, to perform at the National Traditional Country Music Festival. It was there that “Travelling With You” was recognised by America’s National Traditional Country Music Association with the Rural Roots Commission “Real Country CD of the Year” award, and with Lloyd being inducted into the Old Time Country Music Hall of Fame, which he regarded as a huge honour.
The title track reached #1 on the Joyce Ramgate International Mainstream Country Music Chart.
